On Saturday one of our photography students, Jamie Tyerman traveled down to London to shoot at the prestigious fashion weekend! At only 21, Jamie shot with Canon as part of the Canon Professional Services. He attended the SIBLING S/S 17 show at the Saatchi Gallery and another Trend Catwalk show. Jamie also attended a talk by a top Canon Photographer to top off his weekend at Fashion Week.
Jamie has just completed his work experience with top brand, Ted Baker. He has been assisting CCAD alumni Richy Leeson who is currently head of photography at the brand and has previously worked with Matches, Sony and Canon.
Jamie told us, “The Fashion Weekend was amazing. It was my first time shooting a catwalk, so didn’t really know what to expect as I usually shoot football. We were sitting under the show lights in the photographer’s pit packed in like sardines, it was so hot but once the show had started you forgot about that. Luckily I was shooting the Sibling show who are known for their extravagant shows which was really good for pictures. This is definitely something I would like to get into in the future.”
